ITCN 2017

Dear PSEB Member,  

Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), in line with its policy of bolstering the local IT Sector of Pakistan hereby solicits applications from PSEB member companies to exhibit at ITCN 2017 (September 19-21) at Expo Center, Karachi.

According to ITCN organizers “this Business-to-Business Exhibition aims to be a one-stop shop for ICT Industry that includes but not limited to Business Solutions, Telecom Solutions, Government Solutions, Cloud Computing, Data Center Solutions, Banking Solutions, Health Solutions, Retail Solutions, Digital Marketing, Consumer Technology, Security and Computer Hardware Solutions in front of thousands of potential buyers, who will be attending the Show. The Event is proven to be the preferred venue for thousands of prospective buyers for Software Sector and Industry Professionals to get up to date information on latest technological advancements and industry developments.” Further information on the event is available at http://itcnasia.com/.

PSEB would provide subsidy to selected PSEB member companies having valid PSEB membership for exhibiting at ITCN Asia 2017.  After availing the subsidy, the shortlisted PSEB member company would pay only PKR 30,000 for the following benefits:

  • Shell space (9 sqm) with Fascia Name, 1 Counter, 2 Chairs, 3 Spot Lights and Power Socket

  • Company Profile in the Event’s Catalogue

  • Corporate Visitor Passes (200 Complimentary)

  • Opening Ceremony (02 invitations Complimentary)

Your company would be provided with independent space with walls. You may bring your marketing material such as backdrop, brochures, banners, and standees for effectively marketing your products and services. A PSEB representative would be available at all times to address any issues pertaining to PSEB Pavilion.

Application forms and signed TORs are available at http://pseb.org.pk/images/itcn-form-2017.pdf. The duly filled in application form and signed TORs must be submitted to undersigned official along with the following by August 11, 2017 by 4 PM.

  • Objective Statement (explaining why your company wants to participate in this particular event)

  • Demand draft of Rs. 30,000 in favor of Pakistan Software Export Board (refundable in case of non-selection).

PSEB has to intimate ITCN about the number of confirmed stalls therefore any applications received after the deadline will not be considered. Hence, kindly submit your application form along with payment by August 11, 2017 positively to PSEB office.

Exhibit at China Hi Tech Fair 2017

Dear PSEB member,

PSEB hereby invites applications from PSEB member companies interested in exhibiting at China Hi Tech Fair 2017. Eligible companies would be offered fully built exhibit space in an open format Pakistan IT Pavilion.

China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) is held in Shenzhen from November 16 to 21 every year. It is co-hosted by Ministry of Commerce and other State Ministries and Shenzhen Municipal People's Government and is among the most influential Chinese technical exhibition, well known for being the "No. 1 Technology Show in China." With 150,000 sqm of space, 3600exhibitors, delegations from 28 countries, and nearly 600,000 visitors from 90 countries, China HI Tech fair is easily among the world’s largest IT exhibitions. At CHTF 2016, exhibitors showcased thousands of hi-tech products, which covered industries of Energy Saving & Environmental Protection, Smart Wearable Devices, Internet+, Unmanned System, Robot, Big Data, New Energy, New Material, IOT, Smart Home, Optoelectronics Display, Aerospace, Smart City and Modern Agriculture. 243 forums, conferences, seminars, workshops, salons and product launches were also held during the six-day event.  

As per information provided by the exhibitors “dozens of Chinese provinces will send exhibition delegations to China HiTech Fair. Further information on the fair is available at http://www.chtf.com/english.

Chinese Market is already the second largest economy and is expected to surpass the US as the largest economy in the world by 2025.  For perspective on the size of the Chinese IT market, Chinese IPOs have included Alibaba ($25 billion), Sunny Mobile (US$485 million), 500.com (US$665 million), 58.com (US$2.4 billion), and Qunar.com (US$3.11 billion).

The companies would be provided with fully built exhibit space within Pakistan Pavilion with all necessary facilitates. To motivate IT companies to exhibit at China Hi Tech Fair, selected PSEB member companies would have to pay only Rs. 50,000 to exhibit in Pakistan Pavilion at China Hi Tech Fair 2017 and would include complimentary hotel room for one representative of the company as well as transport facility from hotel to the exhibition arena for the duration of the exhibition. Companies would be responsible for remaining expenses such as air travel, visa fees and other miscellaneous expenses. The selected companies would also need to submit a security deposit of Rs. 20,000 which would be refunded after submission of leads report as per stipulated PSEB format.

  • Information of Products and Services to be projected at the exhibition.

  • Signed TORs

  • Demand draft of Rs. 70,000 in favor of PSEB and would be refunded in case the company is not selected or if a company withdraws its EOI before intimation by PSEB on the selection status. The application fee and security deposit would be forfeited if the selected company withdraws after selection by PSEB or does not show up at the exhibition.

Business Software Exhibition, Netherlands - September 2017

Dear PSEB member,

In-line with the Governments objective to boost IT exports of Pakistan, Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) hereby solicits applications from PSEB member companies to exhibit at Business Software Exhibition, scheduled to be held at Midden Nederland Hallen in Barneveld, The Netherlands on 28th September, 2017.

As per the information submitted “This event provides an excellent opportunity to companies specializing in ERP, PDM / PLM, MES, BI, PCF, SCF, CRM, CAD/CAM, Software Quality Management, Inventory Management, Planning, Service and Maintenance in the Business Services, Computer Hardware & Software, IT & Technology industries, to present their products and services. The event will be attended by more than 500 leading businesses including managing directors, company supervisors, controllers, product managers, logistics managers, supply chain managers and IT application managers.”

Netherlands is one of the most wired countries in the world and is considered Europe’s hotspot for leading information and communications technology companies. 60% of all Forbes 2000 companies active in the IT industry have operations in Holland. The Netherlands is also a hotspot for companies active in the global gaming industry, both serious and entertainment gaming, and is home to world-renowned gaming companies like Guerrilla Games, Perfect World, Kixeye and Activision Blizzard Plus. The country is ranked no 1 in Europe for outstanding use of IT, 4th largest exporter of IT services and boosts world’s largest IT Interchange. Netherlands also claims to have the largest security cluster and one of the most advanced markets of data centers in Europe, world-class R&D facilities and logistics infrastructure.

PSEB will be setting up a Pakistan IT Pavilion at Business Software Exhibition, Netherlands.  To motivate PSEB member companies to exhibit at first ever PSEB subsidized exhibition in the Netherlands, PSEB would offer substantial subsidy on an exhibit space with all necessary facilitates. The shortlisted companies would pay Rs. 90,000/- after availing PSEB’s subsidy. Companies would be responsible for their representative’s visa, travel, hotel accommodation and all other miscellaneous expenses from 27th-29th September, 2017. Valid PSEB member IT Companies interested in exhibiting at Business Software Exhibition in the Netherlands are requested to submit the following documents and payment to the undersigned with all supporting attachments by 25th July, 2017.

  • Dully filled in Application form and signed ToRs available here. Both must have company stamp as well

  • Company Profile

  • Objective Statement (explaining why your company wants to participate in this particular event)

  • Information on Products and Services that would be projected through participation in the exhibition

  • Demand draft of PKR 100,000/- in favor of Pakistan Software Export Board. The demand draft would be refunded if the company is not selected. Rs. 10,000 would be refunded upon submission of leads report as per format provided by PSEB. The leads report would need to be submitted within two weeks of the conclusion of the event.

MWC Americas, San Francisco - September 2017

Dear PSEB Member,

In-line with the Governments objective to boost IT exports of Pakistan, Pakistan Software Export Board hereby solicits applications from PSEB member companies to exhibit at MWC Americas, scheduled to be held in San Francisco, USA between September 12-14, 2017.

As per the information submitted by the organizers “The MWC Americas exhibition will showcase 1,000 exhibitors through a combination of exhibition stands, pavilions and hospitality space. Pavilions from Canada, China and Korea are already confirmed and we are seeing extremely strong support for Mobile World Congress Americas from operators and players from across the mobile ecosystem, including AT&T, Sprint and Verizon who are all committed to exhibiting at the event.” Further information on the event is available at https://www.mwcamericas.com/

PSEB would be setting up a Pakistan IT Pavilion at 2017 MWC Americas. To motivate PSEB member companies to exhibit at the aforementioned IT exhibition, PSEB has decided to offer substantial subsidy. The short-listed companies would pay Rs. 200,000/-after availing PSEB subsidy to exhibit at MWC Americas 2017 in a fully built exhibit space with all necessary facilitates. Companies would be responsible for their representative’s visa, travel, hotel accommodation and all other miscellaneous expense.

Interested companies having valid PSEB membership, are requested to fill out the Application form available here and submit to the undersigned with all requisite attachments by August 7, 2017.

  • Demand draft of PKR 220,000/- in favor of Pakistan Software Export Board. The deposit is refundable in case an IT company is not short-listed. The deposit would be non-refundable in case of no-show after selection. Please note that Rs. 20,000 would be refunded upon submission of tour and leads report after the event as per format provided by PSEB.

GiTEX Dubai 2016 - (Newsletter)

Dear PSEB Member

GiTEX Dubai is scheduled to be held at Dubai World Trade Center between Oct 16-20, 2016. As has been the case in the previous years, TDAP is planning to have a major presence of Pakistani companies at the mega event and in this regard is soliciting applications to exhibit in Pakistan Pavilion at GiTEX Dubai 2016.

GiTEX Dubai is the third largest technology event in the world. Approximately 146,000 attendees from 144 countries visited GiTEX Dubai 2015 with nearly 4200+ exhibitors and sponsors from over 130 countries. Over 80% of the top global ICT brands actively exhibit at GiTEX thereby making it the important business-to-business ICT trade event for corporate, enterprise and SME businesses serving the Middle Eastern, African and South Asian markets. The importance of GiTEX Dubai as a platform to market products and services cannot be overstated keeping in view the fact that the resource rich Middle Eastern IT market is growing with IT spending in the Middle East projected to reach US $212.9 billion in 2016, a 3.7 percent increase from 2015, GiTEX Dubai 2016 is therefore an important event to gauge the market for your products and services.
